    Description

North Central Region 2 has approximately 190 portable fire extinguishers, primarily ABC multipurpose dry chemical in various sizes (2.5 lb., 5 lb., 10 lb., and 20 lb.) located throughout the campus. These fire extinguishers need to be inspected and maintained annually to ensure they remain in proper working condition and in compliance with California Health and Safety requirements, regulations of the California Office of the State Fire Marshal and NFPA 10 (current edition). Each of the four facilities on campus will consolidate their fire extinguishers in a designated area on a pre-scheduled service date for the Contractor to perform the maintenance services.
