    Description

    Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is experiencing growth in passengers, airline operations and associated vehicular traffic.  The increasing traffic at both Terminals necessitates a more intuitive and efficient exit corridor for departing vehicles accessing Terminal A and B is necessary. This project will construct: a dedicated two-lane exit roadway from Terminal A to Alan Boyd Drive north of Terminal B and future Terminal B Parking Garage; improve a separate and parallel maintenance roadway; enlarge an existing roundabout; new road wayfinding signs; improve lighting, traffic signal, pedestrian crossing treatments, and enable construction of the future Ground Transportation Center.

    This project is part of the SMForward Program and will continue supporting the growth of commercial operations.  The Project’s estimated completion date is October 2027.
