Rework/add fire alarms, strobes, egress to existing system per drawings. Construction of interior walls, countertops, ceiling grid and ceiling tiles, painting, electrical and HVAC. Purchase and installation of flooring, lockers and benches per drawings located at the Safety Complex, 3360 Park Street. The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications are: Base Bid: $200,000 Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained from Bid Express only and at the costs associated with the Bid Express service fee schedule. Payment for these items will not be refunded. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Safety Complex (3360 Park Street) on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. to measure equipment, review facility and discuss any questions potential bidders may have. Any bidders wishing to visit the site, other than at the pre-bid meeting, must coordinate with the City prior to visiting. To schedule a visit, bidders can contact Bill Milburn at (614) 277-1119. Schedule: The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. It shall be substantially completed no later than October 1, 2026. Access to the location outside of the dates and times listed above is prohibited. The contractor must be registered with the City of Grove City, and all licenses/ bonds must be updated and current. The contractor is responsible for permits.
