Cashier's check or certified check, payable to the order of the County of Santa Cruz, of not less ten percent (10%) of the bid submitted, payable to the County of Santa Cruz and signed by the bidder as well as a corporate surety, shall accompany the bid. Bidder’s bonds shall be issued by a corporate surety duly admitted and authorized to issue bonds and undertakings by the State of California. Scan and upload a copy of your bid bond/cashier's check via the online procurement portal, OpenGov.
No later than 4 p.m. on the 5th business day after bid opening, please mail the original Proposal forms, remaining Proposal forms due as stated in Section 2, and the bid bond/cashier's or certified check to the Contract Analyst, Rosa Ortiz;
The project is located in the County of Santa Cruz as follows:
In Felton, near Highway 9 just north of Graham Hill Road
Work includes removal and construction of the San Lorenzo Way Bridge across the San Lorenzo River. Major work includes, but is not limited to:
Traffic handling, tree removal, bridge removal, drilling cast-in-drilled hole concrete piling, construction of reinforced concrete footings and abutments, retaining wall construction, approach road reconstruction, curb, gutter and sidewalk construction, driveway reconstruction, and construction of a cast-in-place prestressed box girder bridge.
For the Federal training program, the number of trainees or apprentices is 4.

Complete the work within 190 working days.
Complete plant establishment work within 120 days
The estimated cost of the project is $6,671,000.
