    • General Work Description

      The project is located in the County of Santa Cruz as follows:

      In Felton, near Highway 9 just north of Graham Hill Road

      Work includes removal and construction of the San Lorenzo Way Bridge across the San Lorenzo River. Major work includes, but is not limited to:

      Traffic handling, tree removal, bridge removal, drilling cast-in-drilled hole concrete piling, construction of reinforced concrete footings and abutments, retaining wall construction, approach road reconstruction, curb, gutter and sidewalk construction, driveway reconstruction, and construction of a cast-in-place prestressed box girder bridge.

      For the Federal training program, the number of trainees or apprentices is 4.

      Complete the work within 190 working days.

      Complete plant establishment work within 120 days

      The estimated cost of the project is $6,671,000.

      By submitting a response, the Bidder acknowledges once an apparent lowest responsive and responsible bidder is determined, a Notice of Intent to Award will be issued followed by the bid protest period. Once the bid protest period is concluded, the Contract Analyst, Rosa Ortiz, will reach out to the selected bidder to discuss the contract execution process. 
       
      Once the Deputy CEO, Director of Community Development and Infrastructure Department accepts the bid proposal, a Notice of Award of Contract will be sent out to the selected bidder. 
       
      Within 8 business days of the Notice of Award of Contract, the selected bidder must mail the following documents to the Contract Analyst;
