Garey Ave.Pomona, California91769 County: Los Angeles Other Details: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• The awarded bidder shall be required to obtain a City of Pomona Business License and provide all required insurance documentation while on City property• The company shall be a local business, within 10 miles of Pomona, Ca and hold a business license to operate within the city.• Must possess a certification or license required to operate equipment for blasting and powder coating.• Must have a minimum of 5 years of blasting and powder coating experience.• Must have the means to blast and powder coat large, random sized fabricated steel products. Notes: All the blasting and powder coating will be done at the vendor’s facility. This is a service contract; material will be transported to the vendor for blasting and coating and will be picked up by our team upon completion. Special Notices: DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS SOLICITATION THROUGH A THIRD PARTY OTHER THAN PLANETBIDS. BIDDERS MUST BE LISTED ON THE CITY OF POMONA'S "PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS LIST" ON PLANETBIDS IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BID. IF BIDDERS FAIL TO REGISTER WITH PLANETBIDS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A RESPONSE, THE CITY SHALL IMMEDIATELY REJECT ANY RESPONSE YOU SUBMIT IN REFERENCE TO THIS SOLICITATION.Bidders must be listed on the city of Pomona’s "prospective bidders list" on PlanetBids in order to participate in this bid. If bidders fail to register with PlanetBids prior to submitting a response, the city shall immediately reject any response you submit in reference to this solicitation.Per Section 2-971(2) of the Pomona City Code, any unauthorized contact by the Bidder during the bid process with an official or city employee, other than those shown on the bid, the Finance Director or Purchasing Manager, shall cause the Bidder to be immediately disqualified from participating in the bidding process.
