    The Santa Cruz Port District invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bid proposals for the Santa Cruz Harbor Demolition & Reconstruction of G & X Docks Project. The work consists, in general, of demolition and replacement of approximately 26,800 square feet of floating dock, including piles, utilities, marine power pedestals, potable water and fire protection systems, and appurtenances at G & X Docks in the north harbor, with associated electrical and utility work and reconnection to existing landside infrastructure. Work shall be performed in accordance with all phased construction requirements and regulator permits, including, but not limited to completion of all pile driving work by November 30, 2026. Performance of this work requires a valid California Contractor’s License Class A (General Engineering). A mandatory pre-bid conference has been scheduled for 10 AM on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Harbor Public Meeting Room, 365 A Lake Avenue, Santa Cruz, California, 95062.
