    The City of Culver City (City) intends to obtain the services of a qualified firm to provide assistance and expertise in SB 1383 compliance tasks, including inspections and recycling and organic waste site assessments at commercialbusinesses and multifamily locations, conducting annual route contamination audits to identify prohibited waste being disposed in customers containers, assistance with data management in the City’s Implementation Record (IR) of SMART, and perform bi-annual waste characterization of selected loads at the Culver City transfer station to determine the composition of the City’s waste stream.These efforts will assist the City in identifying future equipment needs toexpand our recycling and organic waste programs and achieve compliancewith SB 1383 regulations.
