The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of but is not limited to the following major items: 1. Secure the perimeter following International Building Code. Install erosion control measurements around jobsite including protection of stormwater intlets at all times. 2. All building structures and site features, including but not limited to floor slabs, drains, lifts, concrete sidewalks/footpaths, septic tanks (if any), debris, drums, containers, used aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), signs, junk, trash, the convenience store building, underground storage tanks (USTs), fueling canopy, fuel dispenser islands, dumpster enclosure and pads, grease trap, utility appurtenances, foundations, underground structures, trees, shrubs, and any other abandoned site features located inside or outside the main building area, shall be completely demolished and removed from the site. The existing concrete parking lot shall be demolished and removed, with the exception of the existing concrete entrance/driveway apron, which shall remain in place. (Refer to the site plan for the limits of demolition). 3. Disturbed area must be graded, backfilled & compacted, sloped in such a manner that the site does not retain water (around 1% grade). Seed and Straw must be applied after site disturbance. (Refer to site plan) 4. Once demolition is completed, Contractor should place concrete bin blocks at driveways. 5. All demolition debris must be removed and disposed of properly in an appropriate landfill or recycled in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4. 6.
