NOTICE TO BIDDERS RFB-2026-23 SCHENECTADY COUNTY JAIL AREAS 702, 704 & 705 EPOXY FLOORING The County of Schenectady will be accepting bids for the Schenectady County Jail Areas 702, 704 & 705 Epoxy Flooring project at 320 Veeder Ave., Schenectady, NY 12307. There will be one (1) prime contract. Digital copies of specifications may be obtained from BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york or by submitting a request to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov. Paper copies may be picked up at the Purchasing Department, 2nd Floor, Schenectady County Office Building at 620 State Street, Schenectady, New York, 12305 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. weekdays, but must be requested via email 24 hours in advance. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on two dates, in which prospective bidders are required to attend one of the two walkthroughs. Failure to attend one of the on-site walkthroughs will be considered grounds for bid disqualification. The first walkthrough will be held on May 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The second walkthrough will be held on May 15, at 2:00PM. Both walkthroughs will be at the Schenectady County Jail, 320 Veeder Ave., Schenectady, NY 12307. Those interested are asked to meet in the lobby. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Bid” and stating Schenectady County Jail Areas 702, 704 & 705 Epoxy Flooring, RFB-2026-23, to the Purchasing Agent, no later than May 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at which time they will be opened. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as described in General Instructions to Bidders. Woman and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
