Binghamton University is seeking a qualifed contractor to create a financial technology center for the school of management. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: demolishing MEP systems and interior partitions in Suite 120 to create a Financial Technology Room. The Financial Technology Room will have new finishes/furniture, mechancial and electrical upgrades, Fire Protection re-work, as well as new exterior glazing and structual support along the exterior wall. The exterior finish will be new metal panel. A new single use toilet room will be added adjacent to the existing bathrooms to support the new occupant load of the first floor. Offices along the south facade will receive new finishes and lighting/diffuser upgrades. This is for the General Construction work outlined on the drawings. There is a prebid meeting scheduled for Monday February 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM in conference room C of the physical facilities building. Please reference Binghamton University's website for parking instructions. Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if the bidding documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All other official notification, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner or Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
