    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the City of Scotts Valley, State of California, that formal bids for work in accordance with this Invitation, Project Documents, and Contract Documents will be received electronically through the City’s OpenGov Procurement portal and may also be submitted in person at the office of the Public Works Department located at 361 Kings Village Road, Scotts Valley, CA 95066, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read in accordance with applicable law. The work to be performed is as described in the Project Documents and Contract Documents.
    Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary and incidental to the completion of the project known as 
    Scotts Valley Dr/Mt. Hermon Rd Improvements Project 


    SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work to be performed under this contract consists of the reconstruction and improvement of the existing roadway corridor to transform it into a Complete Street that safely accommodates pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists, and public transit users of all ages and abilities.  The work would includes, but not limited to:  

    •    Removal and replacement of failed pavement sections (dig-outs).
    •    Slurry Seal application.
    •    Striping.
    •    Install curb, and curb & gutter
    •    Traffic Control
    •    Temporary erosion control measures
