    Purpose  

    The Tucson School District is seeking to purchase a 6-12 Spanish Language Arts (SLA) core curriculum aligned to the Common Core en Español and ideally Arizona English Language Arts Standards. It is the primary intent of this RFP to acquire an evidence-based core literacy program that universally develops competencies of all 6-12 grade student learners. A core SLA program that includes all essential components of language, literacy and effective teaching practices for a diverse range of student learners (ELLs, Exceptional and Gifted) is important, including Universal classroom instruction through differentiated lessons and materials for every aspect of literacy is essential.
