NOTICE TO BIDDERS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That proposals for Security System Equipment and Software Replacement at Various SCWA Sites in Suffolk County, will be received by the Purchasing Department of Suffolk County Water Authority, no later than 11:00AM, on May 27, 2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will only be accepted electronically; prospective bidders must submit their bids via the following website: www.BidNetDirect.com/new-york. A Two (2) Day Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Walkthrough is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on May 19, 2026 and 10:00 a.m. on May 20, 2026. The first conference (Tuesday, May 19, 2026) will be held at Suffolk County Water Authority’s Purchasing Department located at 4050 Sunrise Highway in Oakdale, NY and then traveling to Bay Shore, Hauppauge, and Huntington. The second day (Wednesday, May 20, 2026) will begin in East Hampton and then travel to Westhampton and Coram. Any firm wishing to have a bid considered by SCWA must send a representative to the conference. Failure by a firm or its representatives to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will disqualify the firm’s bid from consideration for an award. The Authority may excuse a firm’s attendance at the pre-bid conference upon a showing of an extraordinary circumstance that prevented the firm or any of its representatives from attending the conference.
