Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Bonfire portal no later than Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 11:00 am. 1.4 For additional information concerning this BVP, including procedures on how to submit a proposal, you must go to the City of Columbus Bonfire web site at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/227294 and view this bid number, RFQ032216. 1.5 Best Value Procurement Model: The City of Columbus is using a Best Value Procurement in lieu of the Invitation to Bid model. The award will not be made to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. The contract will be awarded based upon: (1) total cost of ownership, to include maintenance and operation costs, as well as the expected life of the equipment, (2) quality of the goods offered and the extent to which the goods meet the operational needs of the City, (3) past performance of the equipment and vendor as determined by customer satisfaction, (4) acquisition cost and other evaluation criteria referred to in Columbus City Code 329.18 or as defined herein. 1.6 Background of City's Needs: The City will negotiate a Universal Term Contract with the successful Offeror. See Section 3.1.5 for additional information.
