Sewer Degreaser

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, MD (the "WSSC"), is soliciting sealed responses for Sewer Degreaser. Responses are to be submitted via WSSC's eProcurement Portal via https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/wsscwater PRIOR TO 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) seeks a Contractor to provide Sewer Degreaser that are used in the functionality and maintenance in WSSC's water infrastructure.

Background

WSSC provides water supply and wastewater services to residents and businesses in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. Sewer Degreaser is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of sewer mains by dissolving fats, oils and grease (FOG) that accumulates in the sewer system, preventing clogs and ensuring proper waste digestion. Regular use of Sewer Degreaser helps to keep sewer lines clear, controls odors and maintains the overall efficiency of the sewer system.

Submission Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications —

  Each Bidder must meet the following qualifications to be considered for award. Responses to all questions in this section are required.

• Is your firm an authorized distributor of Sewer Degreaser? (required)
• The Bidder must upload a letter from the manufacturer authorizing the Bidder to distribute sewer degreaser. (required)
• Does your firm have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in providing sewer degreasers as specified in the solicitation? (required)
• Provide at least three (3) contracts performed by your firm that were/are similar in scope to the solicitation. (required) —

  For each contract, provide the following:
  
  1) Client name,
  2) Email address,
  3) Contract title,
  4) Description of work performed,
  5) Contract amount, and
  6) Duration of the contract (start and end dates).
