SUNY Delhi intends to procure Sign Language Services pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law Section 163 (6) and NYS Education Law 355 (5)(a). We are seeking Sign Language Interpreter Services to provide interpreter services for a Deaf student attending SUNY Delhi in the Residential Construction Program. We prefer a single interpreter for the entire contract, but understand that additional interpreters may be needed at times. Please indicate the estimated number of interpreters needed to cover the students' schedule. Attached is a copy of the students' Fall '26 schedule of classes. Services are needed to start on 8/23/26 for Welcome Week and orientation events. This would total 16 weeks for the Fall '26 semester and another 16 weeks for the Spring '27 semester. (43 hr/work week of classes x 32w + Travel/toll/additional charges = Total Quote Amt) We do hold classes on Labor Day, Election Day, and Veterans Day, potentially MLK Day and Presidents Day in Spring '27. Please indicate holiday rates. Please note any additional charges, Toll, Travel, etc., in your total. Background check report preferred A sealed bid will not be held.
