The Port of Stockton (Port), in coordination with the Rich Island Duck Club (Duck Club), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, and Suisun Resource Conservation District, is implementing the Simmons Island Habitat Restoration Project (Project). The area for restoration is located in the southern portion of Simmons Island within the Duck Club’s managed wetlands inside the exterior levee, along Suisun Cutoff, which joins Suisun Bay and Grizzly Bay. This area received dredged sediment from the Stockton Deep Water Ship Channel between 1986 and 1996, and the sediment has been stockpiled on the island since that time. The Project entails regrading the previously placed dredged material, salvaging, importing, and planting vegetation, improving and expanding wetland habitats, and improving the Duck Club’s water management capabilities to maintain the wetlands. ## Pre-Bid Conference MANDATORY MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE.
