THE END DATE WAS EXTENDED, THIS IS NOT A NEW PROJECT Project Description: The improvements to be completed at Site 1 South Tank & Site 2 East Tank include the restoration and rehabilitation of the existing tanks to include but is not limited to: Site 1: blast and recoat, replace deteriorated weather stripping on the access hatch, repair / remove the non-functioning manual level indicator, and repair the most severe areas of coating failure with corrosion and pitting. All items noted in the MIDCO inspection report will also be addressed and repaired. (See Attached Inspection Report). Site 2: blast and recoat, replace deteriorated weather stripping on the access hatch, install #24 corrosion resistant mesh on the roof vent, repair / remove the non-functioning manual level indicator and floor anchor, investigate and repair (as needed) water migration noted at the wall seams, monitor / replace missing bolt caps, epoxy repair the most severe areas of coating failure with corrosion and pitting. All items noted in the MIDCO inspection report will also be addressed and repaired. (See Attached Inspection Report). The contractor will provide and install a mixer at both reservoirs. Work will involve protecting underground utilities, and procuring and installing electrical equipment and controls as needed. The contractor also agrees to have the Bullhead City Utilities logo painted on each tank. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City of Bullhead City Council Chambers, 2355 Trane Road, Bullhead City, AZ, December 9, 2025 at 10 a.m., Arizona Time. Representatives of the Owner will be present. City of Bullhead City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof and waive informalities deemed in the best interest of the City. Remote appearances are not accepted. Attendance is NOT mandatory.
