Smart Perimeter Odor Control System

The County of Yolo is requesting proposals from qualified firms to design, furnish, and support a perimeter-based odor control system utilizing an odor counteractant (neutralization) chemistry at Yolo County Central Landfill.

The system will serve:

·         Compost processing areas

·         Landfill leachate pond

·         Liquid waste / septic receiving pond

The purpose of this project is to reduce off-site odor migration during high-risk meteorological conditions using an intelligent, data-driven control strategy integrated with the County’s odor risk dashboard.

Proposers must meet all requirements and agree to the terms and conditions contained in this RFP.

Additionally, a non-mandatory site visit has been scheduled for June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Q&A will be reopened for any further questions and closed on 7/9/2026 @ 4:00 P.M. Answers will be posted 7/13/2026 @ 4:00 P.M., if necessary. Additionally, site visit sign-in sheet from the non-mandatory conference held on 6/30/2026 @ 10:00 A.M. has been included to the bid document.
