Official dates will be included in the procurement documents when officially posted.The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is seeking to hire a consultant or consultant team to (Consultant) to assist MTC with the design, development, operations, maintenance, enhancement, and hosting of the 511.org website. This includes providing communications and brand management services.The MTC 511 traveler information program is a robust and multi-platform resource for Bay Area travelers to receive up-to-the-minute information on current road conditions, transit services, bike resources, and carpool and vanpool options. In 2002, the Bay Area was the largest metropolitan area in the country to implement a 511 phone service and was the first in California. The award winning, multi-modal traveler information website launched in 2004 (511.org). Since then, MTC has continued to evolve 511’s offerings.
