(HDR) and New York State Thruway Authority (NYSDOT) personnel, or their authorized designee, with the design of pavement rehabilitation within the above limits. The BID package explains in more detail the nature of the work, requirements and conditions needed to successfully complete this assignment. The project duration is from the beginning of the Subcontract (anticipated in July 2026) until October 2026. It should be noted that the majority of the work will be performed from July through September. No work will be necessary during weekends. Henningson, Durham & Richardson Architecture and Engineering, P.C. (HDR) has a Prime Contract with the NYSTA, Contract No. D214999. All applicable provisions of the Prime Contract apply to the Subcontract. Henningson, Durham & Richardson Architecture and Engineering, P.C. (HDR) reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities, to invite for new bid proposals and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Insurance: Insurance requirements are as follows and shall be in accordance with the specifications in the Bid Documents: Policies of Bodily Injury Liability and Property Damage Liability Insurance; Policies of Automobile and Truck Insurance; Workmen’s Compensation Insurance; All Subcontractor’s. Permits: The Subcontractor is responsible for procuring all permits necessary to perform work, including, but not limited to: entry and temporary lane closure permits. Bid Letting: Proposals shall be mailed or otherwise delivered in a sealed envelope labeled “Confidential – Sealed Bid for D214999 Soil Boring Services” and labeled with the name of the bidder. As noted previously, proposals must be received at the offices of Henningson, Durham & Richardson Architecture and Engineering, P.C. (HDR), 2 Manhattanville Rd., Suite 100, Purchase, NY 10577-2118 no later than 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Proposals received after the deadline will be returned to the bidder unopened. The Bids will be opened as soon as possible after 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 and read out loud in the offices of Henningson, Durham & Richardson Architecture and Engineering, P.C. (HDR), 2 Manhattanville Rd., Suite 100, Purchase, NY 10577-2118 by Mr. Michael MacNeil, michael.macneil@hdrinc.com. A representative of NYSTA may be present. Attendance by a representative from each of the prospective bidders is encouraged but not mandatory. The Award of the Contract will be made within 30 calendar days after receipt of Bids, subject to final approval of NYSTA. A tabulation of the Bids will be provided to all Bidders by email.
