    PBOT/BES - Sole Source Notice with UNITED RENTALS for SEWER REPAIR EXCAVATION SHORING

    PBOT Environmental Systems Division and the Sidewalk 
    ADA Team uses ‘Speed Shore’ Aluminum Hydraulic Shoring Shields to make both preventative maintenance 
    sewer/stormwater repairs, as well as emergency repairs, on a daily basis, including on-call emergency services 
    24 hours a day, 7-days a week, year-round, rain, shine, sleet, snow or ice. Excavation work is known to be one 
    of the most dangerous activities in the construction industry and shoring is required to protect life and safety 
    or our workers and the public, as well as to be in compliance with state and federal occupational health and safety (OSHA) regulations
