The Town is 54 square miles and has a population of 130,862 based upon the 2024 census. This bid will include service to be provided to both the Town of Amherst (“Town”) and the Village of Williamsville (“Village”) with a combined unit total of approximately 38,300. All garbage and recycling totes used are provided by the Town or Village and are owned by the residents. The intent of this RFP is to provide the same or better quality of service presently provided.
