    Description

    The work consists of modifications to the southwest corner of the Santa Ana Canyon Road and Royal Oak Road intersection to provide an ADA-compliant access ramp. This work will include, but not be limited to, new curb and gutter, sidewalk, access ramp, replacement of guardrail, relocation of a catch basin and related storm drain improvements, replacement of a traffic signal pull box, pavement improvements, striping, and all appurtenant work thereto necessary for the proper construction of the proposed improvements in accordance with the Project’s Plans and Specifications.

    10% bid bond is required. Required License Classifications: “A” for prime contractors and “C-10” for traffic signal subcontractors. DIR Registration is required for prime and subcontractors.

    For the purposes of bid evaluations and fairness to all bidders, the City will evaluate the Total Base Bid Proposal. The lowest responsive responsible Base Bid bidder will be selected. Work under the Alternative Bid (if any) may be authorized, if it is determined at the sole discretion of the City, that work under the Alternative Bid is within the City's available budget. All bidders shall further understand that the City reserves the right to reject all bids. All Bids shall be in accordance with the "Invitation to Bidders" and "Instructions to Bidders".
