Space Needs Assessment Study

The Commissioners Court of Kendall County is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified consultants, workspace planners, and/or firms for the development of a Space Needs Assessment Study for Kendall County facilities. Proposers will be required to describe and present their methodology and approach for conducting the assessment, including stakeholder engagement, data collection, analysis, and the development of recommendations. The study will review and evaluate space needs across all County departments, including the efficiency and use of existing workspaces, and provide immediate, short-, mid-, and long-term recommendations to the Commissioners Court regarding space requirements, along with budgetary cost estimates for related capital planning. The goal is to provide clear, practical information the County can use to make informed decisions regarding current space limitations and future facility needs. Method of payment by the County will be check and no bond is required.

Proposals will be accepted until 10:00am CST on Friday July 24, 2026. The scheduled date and time for the opening of proposals is July 24, 2026 at 10:01 a.m. and it will occur at the County’s Purchasing Office located at 201 E. San Antonio Ave., Ste. 112, Boerne, TX, 78006.  Sealed proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud.

County reserves the right to change the date of the opening, to waive any informalities, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous for the County.
