    Description

    2026-J06-115 Special Education Contracted Services Wylie ISD is currently accepting proposals from qualified Special Education professional consultants. For questions regarding proposal submittal procedures, please contact Michelle Hodges, Buyer, Wylie ISD Purchasing, via email at michelle.hodges@wylieisd.netor by phone at 972-429-2995. The purpose of this Request for RFP is to establish a pool of qualified, licensed professionals to provide assessment, consultation, speakers for professional development, and/or administration of IEP goals for the Special Education Department. This contract will be awarded on a non-exclusive basis, and consultants will be utilized on an as-needed basis. The estimated annual value of this contract is $700,000.00; However, this value reflects the district's estimated current requirements for one year. Wylie ISD reserves the right to request post-proposal modifications, including best and final offers, as well as to conduct post-proposal vendor meetings. The District also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, waive any technicalities or informalities, act as the sole judge of quality and equality, and accept the proposal(s) determined to best meet the needs of the District. Awards will be based on the proposal(s) that provide the best value in accordance with the stated criteria and specifications. The District anticipates awarding this solicitation to multiple vendors based on the evaluation criteria, services offered, District needs, and responses to the RFP attributes and line items. This proposal is tentatively scheduled for award by the Wylie ISD Board of Trustees on June 15, 2026, with a contract start date of June 15, 2026. The contract term will be for five (5) years, beginning June 15, 2026, with optional annual renewals through June 30, 2031. Renewals may be granted provided both the vendor and Wylie ISD remain in good standing and mutually agree to any changes in pricing or procedures at least 90 days prior to the contract term expiration. RFP's must be submitted electronically into Wylie ISD's e-bidding system, IonWave(https://www.wylieisd.ionwave.net), May 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The e-bid system will not accept late submissions. PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ORDERS WITHOUT A PROPERLY DRAWN PURCHASE ORDER.
