A: Yes, as one part of a comprehensive plan that will fulfill PD objectives, self-paced asynchronous Professional Development opportunities may be offered. Q: Can WDE provide an estimate of the anticipated number of professional development and technical assistance engagements expected annually (e.g., number of full-day trainings, half-day trainings, technical assistance projects, and materials development requests)? The mode of delivery will ultimately be the proposer's decision of how to meet the objectives of the PD/TA most effectively. A: WDE envisions PD/TA training, universal or targeted in response to identified need, on topics regarding IDEA compliance and best practices. Examples include but are not limited to: post secondary training, executive functioning, SPED law, instructional strategies, IEP processes, SDI. Proposers should not feel like they need to meet all the topics/needs, but rather should present a plan focusing on the topics/needs they are best equipped to meet. Q: Can WDE clarify what forms of technical assistance are envisioned? A: Various trainings on Special Education topics. A: Any TA PD regarding IDEA compliance and best practices. Post secondary training, executive functioning, SPED law, instructional strategies, etc. Q: May proposed personnel represent a broader consultant pool that would be assigned based on topic expertise, or does WDE expect all work to be performed only by the individuals identified in the proposal?
