    Questions & Answers

Q (Class Size Clarification): Could you please clarify the class size requirement, the bid has contradicting info in it: I just looked at the Bid for Special Interest Classes and it states that the Offeror would determine the minimum enrollment (page 10 Scope of Work) then it contradicts itself on page 11 under City Responsibilities and says the City will determine minimum and maximum. Then again on pages 28 and 31 it asks the Offeror to state the minimum and maximum enrollment.

A: The intent is that in the Special Interest Class Packet the SIC provider provide a minimum and maximum enrollment number, but ultimately the City will determine if the recommended min and max are appropriate and feasible to meet the needs of the City and viability of the class. The Parks and Recreation Department will work with SIC providers on those numbers to ensure that the classes are beneficial to all parties.

Q (No subject): Just checking back on my HeARTsy proposal for special interest classes at the city of Surprise. We’re we selected and approved and if so how can we begin advertising our classes to your community centers? Thanks so much!

A: Please reach out to Park and Recreation for their assistance with advertising and scheduling.
