    Description

It is the intention of Alief Independent School District to establish an ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR “SPEECH PATHOLOGIST, DIAGNOSTICAN, SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER, LICENSED SPECIALIST IN SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST (LSSP) SERVICES.” AISD is seeking bids for contracted services to work with students in special education who have high medical needs. Bidders should have contractors available who have knowledge of students with Special Education needs and be able to provide support to those students. Bidders would need to have available qualified personnel such as Teachers, Diagnosticians, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSPs), Speech Pathologist (SLPs). Placement for contracted services for students with Special Education needs will be based on service provider’s firm fixed hourly rate, and their response(s) to minimum requirements and questions. The contractors that will be providing services will be assigned to a school and provide all services documented in a student’s IEP. Bidders should be able to describe their successes working with districts to provide the necessary program and support to Special Education staff. Awards will be made to multiple vendors on an incremental basis during the solicitation offering period. Vendors are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible. Proposal responses will be accepted on a continual basis until 2:00 pm, 10/31/2029. As proposals are received throughout the solicitation period, they will be evaluated and either accepted or rejected by the District. Applicants will then be notified of the District's decision. THIS IS A NEGOTIATED PROCUREMENT, and as such, the District reserves the right to negotiate any terms, conditions, or pricing with a Proposer. An award under this contract serves to create a pool of qualified vendors from which competitive quotations will be obtained. Renewal action(s) may occur through the year 2029 in order to allow the District to make the contract current with any legislative changes that may have occurred during the term, as well as affirm both parties' desire to continue the contract.
