Scope of Work

The Work consists of, but not limited to, the installation of a second membrane treatment unit with a capacity of 1.7-mgd to the existing reverse osmosis (RO) treatment system at Springtree Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The RO system will include a new connection to the existing raw water main, a third Biscayne Aquifer raw water feed pump (new feed pump shall match the existing manufacturer and model of the existing pumps), modular skid mounted equipment, one sand strainer, two cartridge filters, one degasifier, one sodium hydroxide tank, and one sulfuric acid tank. Systems including electrical and instrumentation and controls components are also included in this project. All work is to be constructed in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and Bid documents.
