Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to perform renovations to 2 suites in the University Union, one for Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) and one for the Center of Civic Engagement (CCE). SSD involves removing existing finishes and building interior partitions to bottom of second floor deck to create four offices and a conference room. New rooms will receive finishes, and electrical work. Minor mechanical and fire protection work is required. CCE is converting a conference room into 2 offices and a zoom room. Work includes but is not limited to new partitions and finishes, as well as minor mechanical, electrical and fire protection work. This contract is for the Electrical work. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday February 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Physical Facilities Building. Please reference Binghamton University’s website for parking instructions. Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if the bidding documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All other official notification, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner or Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
