    The City of Huntington Beach (hereinafter referred to as the “City”) is requestingproposals to establish a contract/contract(s) for State and Federal LegislativeAdvocacy Services, with work to commence on or about September 6, 2026 and becompleted on September 5, 2029. The City reserves the right to extend the contractfor up to one (1) additional one (1) year period. City reserves the right to issueadditional solicitation(s) during term of agreement if services with nicheexperience/expertise are needed for special projects.Huntington Beach is located along the Southern California coast in Orange County, 35miles south of Los Angeles and 90 miles north of San Diego. The City is best knowntoday for its 8.5 miles of uninterrupted beaches, excellent year-round weather, and asurf culture that draws 4 million visitors annually. Beyond the shoreline, HuntingtonBeach is a full-service charter city guided by a Council-Manager form of government,with a seven-member City Council made up of the Mayor and six City Council memberselected at large. Appointed by the City Council, the City Managerimplements City Council policy and laws, provides overall guidance to operatingdepartments, and is responsible for administering all City programs to ensure servicedelivery in an efficient, cost-effective, and quality manner.
