    Description

    Arts Center & Theatre of Schenectady Inc., Proctors Theatre, is currently working on the installation of a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Project at 432 State Street in Schenectady, New York. This project is being financed by the New York State Homes and Communities Renewal which is part of the Office of Resilient Homes and Communities. Also, this project is part of the HUD Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program and bidders need to be aware of the requirements as it pertains to this project. AMERESCO on behalf of Arts Center & Theatre of Schenectady Inc. is seeking proposals from qualified Contracting firms to provide construction services for the State Street Crossing Civil and Underground Installation. This will require the discipline subcontractor to: · Install Duct Bank from east wall of Proctors Theatre across State Street to the West wall at Center City · All work will be performed in accordance with the designed drawings with respect to removal and reinstallation of subgrade and paving. AMERESCO will conduct, by appointment, site walkthroughs for interested parties on either 4/6/26 or 4/7/26, at which time the Scope of Work will be reviewed and discussed. Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Section 3 firms are encouraged to respond. Bid Due Date: Friday, April 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. Bid invitations will be emailed via Procore where bidders will be able to download the documents pertaining to this portion of the project. For an RFP Packet, please contact tjohnson@ameresco.com. All bids will need to be entered into Procore by 5:00 p.m. EST. on the bid due date. Any bids not entered in the system will be considered a “no bid.” Bid opening will be held via teams meeting by invitation to all bidders with the time and date.
