    Description

    SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital intends to make an award under its discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355 (5) (a), which is up to $125,000 for the above noted commodity/product or service. A sealed bid will not be held. Vendors must contact the appropriately designated Hospital contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice. Stony Brook Hospital is looking to secure a bus company that will provide two (2) 25-passenger luxury buses with established routes on the South Shore of Long Island's East End to advertise Stony Brook Medicine on their buses. Each bus to have established routes within the parameters of Southampton and Montauk (stops to be provided). Bus company must provide daily schedule and established stops. The buses must run a minimum of five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, with hours of operation 7am to 5pm. These buses will be wrapped in a SBUH logo design (to be provided). Costs to be quoted are to print and wrap buses for use during the period of 6/26/2026 through and including 9/7/2026. Vendor must provide an app-based bus network. By using an iPhone app, riders must be able to check stop locations, pick-up times and see ETA's until next bus arrival. Bus company must possess New York State (NYS) Department of Transportation (DOT) authority to operate inter-town commuter shuttles, as well as charter authority within NYS. Bus drivers must possess a CDL Class C or greater license and are subject to all NYS 19A regulations, which include physicals, periodic license checks and both road and written exams. Buses subject to stringent NYS DOT inspections. All insurances must be up to date. Any and all documentation can be requested at any time during this procurement. Any questions pertaining to this ad are due back to me by Friday, April 3rd, 5pm EST. Answers will be provided by Friday, April 10th, 5pm EST. Quotes will be due by Friday, April 17th, 12pm EST. No questions or quotes will be accepted after the date/time specified.
