    Description

    This is a Request for Proposal-- RFP for Street Light System Maintenance and Repairs Addendum No. 1 - Street Light System Maintenance and Repairs The City of Chino Hills ("City) is requesting proposals from firms or individuals for the maintenance and repair of City-owned street lights. The City of Chino Hills has recently acquired approximately 4,528 LS-1 street lights from Southern California Edison (SCE). The lights are being acquired under the LS2-B rate structure and maintenance responsibility. The acquisition of the street lights occurred in two phases and the City is currently in the final true-up phase with SCE. Prospective bidders shall submit proposals with the understanding that the quantities mentioned herein are not absolute and are dependent on final reconciliation and acceptance by the City. The City is seeking the services of a contractor for on-call street light maintenance and repair services. The contractor shall be available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, and have an operations facility within 30 miles of the City of Chino Hills. The work related to street lights includes, but is not limited to: repair, replacement, adjustment, and maintenance of street light poles, pipe arms, foundations, heads, and related parts and materials; painting of street light poles, emergency response, and call center and data management. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP, an addendum to the RFP will be published and distributed through the City's website. All addenda shall become a part of the RFP document requiring acknowledgment by the proposer.
