Asphalt used for leveling/widening (approximately 50 tons). C. Raise twenty-three (23) manholes with cast iron adjustment rings. D. Raise twenty (20) valve boxes with cast iron rings. Bid proposals received after the time for opening will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Electronic bid documents may be obtained on/after April 24, 2026, by a downloadable link on the City of Laurinburg website at https://www.laurinburg.org/business/#purchasing-rfps. Bidders can click on the “Bid Opportunities on Bidnet Direct” link on that page and then complete the vendor registration process to login and obtain copies of the bid documents. No bid proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. In the alternative, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. Bidders must be properly licensed under Chapter 87 of the General Statutes of North Carolina and must comply with nondiscrimination provisions.
