    Description

    Washington County Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division, Addictions Program, seeks to identify a provider to deliver recovery-oriented physical fitness, wellness, and mentoring services by people with lived experience with a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) through a Recovery Gymnasium (Recovery Gym) model for adults living with SUD who are Washington County residents.

    Services funded through this solicitation will support improved recovery outcomes by addressing physical health, recovery capital, and social determinants of health through evidence-based, trauma-informed peer mentorship integrated with structured fitness and wellness programming.

    The County intends to contract with a single provider for these services in an amount not to exceed $216,000.

    Background

    Per Washington County Rules of Procurement 10 120(3) – Competitive Process – Personal Service Contracts:

    Notwithstanding any other provision in these rules, for personal services contracts, the County may use an LOI process, which requires any prospective proposer(s) to file a letter by the given deadline that notifies the County of its interest in performing the work or responding to an RFP. If there is only one interested respondent, the County reserves the right to negotiate a contract with that responder and forego the RFP process.

      If we go to interview we need a decision regarding how interviews will be scored.  Which of the following methods will the evaluation committee use? Please DELETE the alternate methods that you do not want to use.

      a. The interview will be work no points, evaluators will score the proposals again, factoring in data gathered during the interviews, ​ Note that if you choose this options the evlauators must be the same for scoring proposals and interview.

      b. The proposal scores will be used to see who makes it to interview. There will be a new scoring rubric specifically for the interview process.  Should the County determine that interviews are necessary proposal evaluation scores will be used to determine who goes to interview.  The interview process will determine the successful proposer.​

      c. The interview will have its own scoring rubric and those scores will be added to the scores from the proposals to come out with a total that will be used to determine the successful proposer.

Responder understands that Washington County may terminate any contract if contractor fails to comply with any tax laws during the term of the contract.
