      1. General Description

      The vessel shall be a custom-fabricated aluminum crane barge designed for marine lifting, positioning, and support operations for the Nantucket Harbormaster. The barge shall integrate propulsion, crane handling capability, anchoring via spuds, and operator accommodations. Vessel will be operated in a salt-water environment in the coastal waters of Nantucket, Massachusetts, engaged in the placement and removal of aids to navigation and marine moorings.

      Commercial General Liability Insurance on an occurrence basis with a combined single limit of not less than $1 million.  Coverage is to include premises and operations, coverage for liability of subcontractors.  The policy shall contain an endorsement stating that the aggregate limits will apply separately to the work being performed under this Agreement. 

    • Automobile Liability Insurance

      Automobile Liability Insurance of not less than $1 million combined single limit covering owned, hired and non-hired vehicles used, if any for this procurement.
