Scope These agreements provide land equipment, sea equipment, air equipment, GIS software and associated supplies necessary for surveying and mapping operations. This contract is for survey and mapping equipment only. Any product offered on catalog by the below awarded contractors with a survey & mapping purpose is within scope. Professional services and refurbished products are not in scope of this contract. This contract has four (4) categories: • Category 1 – Survey and Mapping Land Equipment, which includes, but is not limited to: total stations (manual, robotic, and multi-station), high-definition scanning equipment, levels (auto, manual, and digital), machine control systems, survey grade GPS, mapping grade GPS, GNSS receivers, electronic data collectors, GIS equipment, digitizers, GPS equipment, mobile devices, parts and accessories. • Category 2 – Survey and Mapping Sea Equipment, which includes, but is not limited to: bathymetric equipment, unmanned surface vehicles, parts and accessories. • Category 3 – Survey and Mapping Air Equipment, which includes, but is not limited to: unmanned aerial systems (UAS’s), unmanned aerial devices (UAD’s), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s), payloads, and accessories. Purchasing considerations for category 3: As of December 22, 2025, federal agencies, including the FCC, updated their restrictions on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) due to national security concerns. The FCC’s action effectively bans the importation, marketing, and sale of foreign UAS’s/UAV’s and their critical components manufactured by a foreign entity covered under the Federal Acquisition Security Council “Foreign Covered Entity List”. Purchasers should work with awarded contractors to ensure purchases in this contract category comply with all state and federal laws. • Category 4 – Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Software – this is defined as a computer system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of spatial or geographical data. GIS software allows users to create interactive queries (user-created searches), analyze spatial information, edit data in maps, and present the results of all these operations.
