    Description

    The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit proposals for cyclical Embankment Irrigation services for a grassed embankment of various widths, while adjusting to various fixed objects including water control structures, bollards, end walls, cross drains. Estimated irrigation for C43 embankment is 2,280 acres annually. Current site restrictions are as follows: soil-cement crest conditions (i. e., DOT HS20 load rating with uniform tire loading, 14-ft clear driving surface between wave walls, nominal 3,000-gal maximum tank size, 5,000 if trailered) for top of the embankment. The Contract term is 3 years with 2 one-year renewal options.
