    SUTTER BIKE PATH GAP CLOSURE PROJECT CONTRACT NO:1266-CON-25 FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO: ATPSB1L-5163(036) The project involves the construction of a new Class I path to provide a gap closure. The bike path will travel along the north side of Jefferson Avenue beginning at Hooper Road and ending at Harter Parkway and along the majority of the west side of Harter Parkway from Butte House Road to Highway 20. The construction consists of the following: Grading Placement of new structural section Installation ADA-compliant curb ramps Storm drain inlet and pipe installations Fence replacement Installation of new striping Installation of new signage Signal modifications Landscaping planting and irrigation Installation of solar powered lighting features (OPTIONAL) For a more detailed description of the project scope, refer to the project plans. All questions and Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding the project must be submitted through Public Purchase on the project link. Responses to questions will be distributed to plan holders via Public Purchase. Questions and RFIs must be submitted five (5) business days prior to bid opening. --- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS --- Q: Please clarify: Does project include a QTY of 1 pole mounted solar light, no labor just material? Is there a specification for the solar light? A: No, the solar item is lump sum and shall include full compensation for furnishing and installing the solar lights, foundations as shown on the plans and directed by the Engineer and specified herein and no additional compensation will be allowed therefor.
