    Description

    Sweeping of the designated areas in 12 Counties in District 4 listed on Exhibit E to be completed by May 15, 2026 as shown on the map in the sample contract, weather permitting. Bid Total Project. Sweepings may be dumped at MnDOT Truck Stations, access will be provided. See attached documents for the list of MnDOT Truck Stations. This event will be awarded to the responder that meets the specifications and all terms and conditions. EQUIPMENT used for sweeping MUST HAVE the following capabilities: - Pickup Style Broom - Dual Gutter Brooms - Obtain highway road speed - Spray water for dust control INSURANCE: Each bidder must include with their bid, proof of insurance for general liability, automobile liability and workers compensation. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the bid. A completed Certificate of Insurance is required prior to final award and before the work can begin. STATE EXCISE AND USE TAX: The responder is understood to have included in its response price for any applicable State or Federal Sales, excise or use tax on all materials, supplies and equipment that are to be utilized. The State’s Direct Pay Permit will NOT apply. MOBILIZATION: Mobilization should be included in the unit price. INVOICES: Please send electronic invoice to d4accountspayable.dot@state.mn.us This solicitation does not include any construction trade work as defined by the MN Department of Labor and Industry, Prevailing Wage Requirements DO NOT apply. THIS IS A FORMAL EVENT/SOLICITATION. Responders must submit their bids on the Supplier Portal. No non-electronic or e-mail responses will be accepted. The response must be submitted no later than the date and time called for in the Finish Time in the Event Details. Your bid is not submitted until you select the ‘Submit Bid’ button. You will receive a confirmation message when your bid has been submitted. Print and save your confirmation. SWIFT CONTRACTOR ASSISTANCE HELPDESK.
