Alameda Municipal Power (AMP) is seeking quotes from qualified bidders to furnish SWITCH, AIR 12 KV LOAD BRK HRZ, HOOKSTICK CONTROL. There are four (4) approved manufacturers per Drawing 1-L-497A and equal/substitute/equivalent are not allowed. Quotes must be valid till end of July 2026 and successful winner also must honor their proposed pricing at the time of shipping the order.
It is the bidder's responsibility to have their responses entered into the OpenGov system before the appointed due date and time. Email submittals shall not be accepted. It is also the responsibility of the bidder to visit the bid portal to see if there is any addendum even after they submitted their quotes. Failure to review and acknowledge all addenda might lead to disqualification to the bid.
Line 1 - Quote based on the net delivered price (Free on board or FOB Alameda CA) with all handling & transportation charges prepaid and include all local, state, and federal taxes but do not include sales tax.
ARO (After receipt of order) lead time in weeks to be filled by a bidder located in the pricing table. Lead time may be considered in evaluation in addition to quoted pricing.
Purchases of materials in excess of $25,000 must receive the City of Alameda's Public Utilities Board (PUB) approval at a PUB monthly meeting.
Quotation will be evaluated based on conformance to the Specification(s) and on an equivalent cost of ownership (ECO) will be added to determine the best bid price using the following formula:
ECO = Bid Price + (No Load Loss Watts x $6.00) + (Load Loss Watts x $1.50)
Clearly specify manufacturer name, its part number, and lead time on the quote sheet. Approved manufacturers are listed in the Drawing 1-L-497A.
