The New York State Bridge Authority (the "Authority") invites qualified firms to submit proposals for construction inspection services for the System-Wide Construction Inspection Services contract (BA-2026-RE-XX-SU). The selected firms will be shortlisted to provide construction inspection services for Authority projects throughout the 2026-2030 construction seasons across the Authority's bridge system, including the Bear Mountain, Newburgh-Beacon, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle Bridges and the Walkway Over the Hudson. The successful proposer shall furnish experienced inspection personnel to support contract administration, monitor contractor operations, document work progress, and help insure conformance with contract documents, applicable standards, and Authority requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with Authority directives and the terms of the RFP. The Authority maintains a continuing interest in expanding opportunities for New York State-certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businessses (SDVOBs) to participate in its procurement programs. All proposers are strongly encouraged to reflect this commitment in their submissions. Firms with demonstrated experience in bridge and highway construction inspection, transportation infrastructure projects, and related contract administration services are invited to submit technical and cost proposals in response to this RFP.
