The State of Wisconsin (State) as represented by the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) is seeking proposals for provision of Category 1 Data Transmission Services and/or Internet Access as defined by the Universal Services Administration Company (USAC) referred to in this RFP as Network Managed Service Provider (NMSP). The State reserves the right to cancel this RFP for any reason prior to the issuance of a notice of intent to award. Network Managed Service Provider or “NMSP” for the Educational User Community The State defines Network Management as the processes and procedures provided by the Contractor to minimize risk and network downtime through change, event, problem, security, and operational management. Network Management also provides the State with metrics for which the services received can be evaluated for performance.
