    CITY NEEDS: The City of Flagstaff seeks proposals for large-scale, three-dimensional (3D) sculptures for a temporary outdoor exhibition, May 18, 2027 through March 15, 2028, at the Elizabeth “Liz” C. Archuleta County Park. Sculptures may be existing or newly created artworks. Ownership is retained by the artist.

    FUNDING: The exhibition is funded by the Arts & Sciences Allocation of the Bed, Board & Beverage tax revenues for an Indigenous Representation project.

    PRE-APPLICATION MEETING DATE & TIME: Thursday, July 9, 2026, Noon-1:30 pm (Arizona Time)

    • Originality, visual/aesthetic quality of the artwork and artistic merit of proposal. (30 pts)
    • Suitability and durability of artwork in an outdoor high desert environment, that can withstand exposure to outdoor elements, and utilization of vandalism resistant materials. (30 pts)
