The City of Flagstaff, AZ is requesting informal Proposals for Temporary 3D Artwork(s) at the Elizabeth “Liz” C. Archuleta County Park.

CITY NEEDS: The City of Flagstaff seeks proposals for large-scale, three-dimensional (3D) sculptures for a temporary outdoor exhibition, May 18, 2027 through March 15, 2028, at the Elizabeth “Liz” C. Archuleta County Park. Sculptures may be existing or newly created artworks. Ownership is retained by the artist.

FUNDING: The exhibition is funded by the Arts & Sciences Allocation of the Bed, Board & Beverage tax revenues for an Indigenous Representation project.

PRE-APPLICATION MEETING DATE & TIME: Thursday, July 9, 2026, Noon-1:30 pm (Arizona Time)

Proposals are to be submitted on or before Friday, July 31, 2026 at 5:00 pm via the City's eProcurement portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/flagstaffaz. Late Proposals will not be accepted.

Evaluation Criteria

• How well the proposed 3D artwork functions with other selected artworks to reflect cultural visibility and how well the artwork complements the site in which it resides. (40 pts)
• Originality, visual/aesthetic quality of the artwork and artistic merit of proposal. (30 pts)
• Suitability and durability of artwork in an outdoor high desert environment, that can withstand exposure to outdoor elements, and utilization of vandalism resistant materials. (30 pts)
