DASNY seeks proposals from qualified firms to perform construction site safety services. The objective of this procurement is to establish term contracts with consultants to provide required services for multiple assignments, with a wide range of clients and facilities, for projects that vary in size, scope, and complexity. Firms responding to this RFP shall meet the qualifications listed below: · Consultant representatives must have a minimum of ten (10) years loss control and safety consulting experience specific to site safety · Consultant representatives must have a strong knowledge of OSHA, NYC Department of Buildings, and industry construction safety standards · Consultant must, on an as-needed basis, be able to provide the services of technical specialists (ACGIH-certified industrial hygienists, ergonomists, and other specialized consultants) and provide consulting and technical services to address hazards, project conditions, and questions related to same. · Consultants must be able to provide electronic survey reports within three (3) business days of the site visit. · Consultant must be able to track and sort survey results in order to provide periodic trending reports to upper management and DASNY’s clients. · Consultant must have access to software and other supplies required to produce training materials, including booklets and other presentation materials DASNY contributes to the economic development of New York State by assisting and supporting Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) through its procurement process. As part of this RFP, and consistent with New York State Executive Law 15-A and Article 3 of the New York State Veteran Services Law, DASNY encourages all firms to consider submitting proposals that utilize partnerships, joint ventures or other similar arrangements with a New York State certified MWBE/SDVOB firm on this contract. For NYS Certified SDVOB firms contact www.ogs.ny.gov/veterans. Pursuant to Executive Order No. 170.1 – Uniform Guidelines for Responsibility Determinations, Executive Order No. 125 – NYS Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire and Executive Order No. 192 – Continuing Vendor Integrity, DASNY may only award a contract to a responsible proposer. A responsible proposer must have the integrity to justify the award of public dollars and the capacity to perform the requirements of the contract fully. The proposer must file a vendor responsibility questionnaire with DASNY. The questionnaire provides the proposer an opportunity to self-disclose any issues and provide necessary information, which DASNY will use as part of its determination.
