For each proposal submitted, the following information will be read aloud: 1) name of contractor; 2) trade for which they are bidding; and 3) the markup percentages entered on the bid form. SUNY Oswego will review all bids and verify accuracy of minimum qualifications and submission of all required documents. ALL BIDDERS MUST REGISTER WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR BEFORE SUBMITTING A BID. A pre-bid information session will not be held. All questions should be submitted to the designated contact as an official Request for Information. The term contracts will be signed with selected contractors for the specified period of time to engage and complete numerous defined projects each with a maximum value of $100,000 or less. Each separate project will be called a“RELEASE”. The term contracts will be issued for a period of three years with the mutual agreement of the contracting parties. Bids must be submitted per the instructions contained in the Information for bidders. It is the policy of the State of New York and SUNY Oswego to encourage minority and women owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are required to make a good faith effort to meet M/WBE goals as follows: 30% MWBE and 15% minority workforce and 15% female workforce. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
