Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Basis of Bid shall be as provided by the Engineer. No bid will be opened unless submitted electronically through Public Purchase and accompanied by an irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond, to the Owner for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event the Bidder fails to promptly enter into a Contract and furnish required documents. The successful Bidder shall provide a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond in accordance with the Contract Documents. In accordance with Wyoming Statutes, a five percent (5%) bid preference will apply to bids from Wyoming Resident Contractors. All Bidders shall comply with the Wyoming Preference Act of 1971. Resident contractor certification must be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the Bid deemed in the best interest of Teton County.
