    The Department of the Attorney General, Crime Prevention and Justice Assistance Division (CPJAD), seeks written comments through this Request for Information (RFI) regarding a planned Request for Proposals (RFP). RFP proposals will be submitted to the online Grants Management System (GMS), CPJAD e-Grants. Only online proposals will be accepted for this RFP. Some highlights of the RFI include the following: Approximately $ 963,548 will be available through FY 2025 and FY 2026 STOP VAWA Grant funds. The RFP will be open to non-profit agencies with IRS 501(c)(3) status, including faith-based and other neighborhood organizations, as set forth in Regulation 28 C.F.R. Part 38. The Department seeks projects and initiatives that create, improve, or enhance victim services and support a coordinated community response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Applicants may request a minimum funding amount of $50,000, up to a maximum funding amount of $400,000 per project for a 24-month contract period. Additional points will be given for projects that serve geographically isolated rural areas and culturally-specific services as defined by OVW. No match is required for funds awarded to qualified non-profit, non-governmental agencies with IRS 501(c)(3) status, which may include faith-based and other neighborhood organizations. Match may be made on a voluntary basis. The proposed service specifications are attached. Written comments are due by or on February 5, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. (HST).
